Along with her husband, Rick Ruess, they provide products and workshops across the USA and internationally. Our mission is to promote understanding and awareness of issues related to sensory processing, sensory integration and the sensory systems. These may influence attention, motor coordination, social participation, behavior and even violence in schools.

Sensory Processing Measure (SPM)
Elementary school children's sensory functioning at home, at school, and in the community. Sensory processing manifests differently in different environments. Grounded in SI theory, the SPM provides three integrated rating scales: norm-referenced standard scores for two higher level integrative functions--praxis and social participation--and five sensory systems--visual, auditory, tactile, proprioceptive, and vestibular functioning. Within each system, it offers descriptive clinical information on processing vulnerabilities, including under- and over responsiveness, sensory-seeking behavior, and perceptual problems across 7 different environments.
